How fin.codes handles analytics, advertising, and community routing signals — including your CCPA/CPRA and GDPR rights.

This policy explains what fin.codes, operated by Reindex Ventures LLC, collects and how it is used.

We never ask for your financial details

fin.codes never asks for, and has no way to receive, your online-banking login, account number, card number, PIN, password, Social Security number, or other personal financial details. Every lookup is a read-only reference query — we are not a bank and do not move money. If any page ever appears to ask you for these details, it is not us.

What we collect

  • Analytics & advertising data: standard analytics and, once enabled, advertising cookies and identifiers (including your IP address and approximate location) to measure traffic and serve ads.
  • Community routing signals: confirm or flag actions only. Where configured, we hash client IP addresses before duplicate checks and do not store raw IP addresses; the form does not collect free-text details. The Site has no user accounts.

Advertising & affiliate partners

fin.codes may be supported by third-party advertising and affiliate links. Where required (EEA/UK), advertising and analytics run only after consent. Advertising partners may set cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads; they receive only limited device and on-page data. We do not sell your personal information for money.

Your rights

  • California (CCPA/CPRA): you may request access to or deletion of your personal information and may opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money.
  • Nevada (NRS 603A): Nevada residents may opt out of the sale of covered information by contacting us.
  • EEA/UK (GDPR): where required, advertising and analytics run only after consent; you may withdraw consent at any time.
