Before you send money
A routing number identifies a bank, not a person or business — scammers can still ask you to send money to a real bank. Confirm the recipient, account number, and instructions directly with the bank before sending.

Before you send
Check these first
- Confirm the bank name matches Fifth Third Bank, National Association.

- For wires, double-check the recipient's name and address too.
- No one needs your password or full card number to confirm a routing number — that's a scam.
