Before you send money
A routing number identifies a bank, not a person or business — a scammer can hand you a real bank's routing number and still take your money. Confirm any payment directly with your bank before you send.

Before you send
Check these first
- Confirm the bank name matches Synovus Bank.
- Match the number to the transfer type — this one is for ACH · Wire.
- For wires, double-check the recipient's name and address too.
- No one needs your password or full card number to confirm a routing number — that's a scam.
